Carl R. Overfors

Carl R. Overfors was inducted into the Army on Dec. 1, 1941.

He was a Technician 4th Grade and a cook with the 968th Quartermaster Service Company, serving in the Rhineland and Central Europe.

Mr. Overfors received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with two bronze battle stars, American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal and an overseas service bar.

He was discharged on Jan. 5, 1946.
