Bruce R. Magnuson of Proctor, Minnesota entered the Army on Sept. 16, 1943.
He was a Private First Class with the 137th Infantry Regiment, 35th Infantry Division in the European Theater.
Mr. Magnuson was killed in action on Nov. 10, 1944, in France and was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart.
