Bennett E. Falk was inducted into the Army October 11, 1941, Fort Snelling, Minn. Home at Entry: Hibbing, Minn.
He served as a Private and antiaircraft machine gunner with Battery D of the 93rd Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion in Southern Philippines and Ryukyus.
He was wounded in action while in the Central Pacific Theater on April 30, 1945.
Mr. Falk was awarded the Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and six overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged August 27, 1945, Camp McCoy, Wis.
