August J. Hill of Cook, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army Air Corps on June 13, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Corporal and truck driver in Squadron C of the 2002nd Army Air Forces Base Unit in the China-Burma-India Theater.

Mr. Hill was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged September 30, 1945 at Truax Field, Madison, Wis.
