Arvid Lillquist Mr. Lillquist was inducted in the Army on May 19,1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.
He served as a Technician 4th Grade and surgical technician with Headquarters Detachment of the 301st Medical Battalion in Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe. He was wounded in action on December 18, 1944, in the European Theater of Operations.
Mr. Lillquist was awarded the following: Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and two overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged on October 30, 1945, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.
