Arvid J. Hill

Arvid J. Hill of Ely, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on March 27, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Technician 5th Grade and driver with Battery A of the 61st Field Artillery Battalion in the Admiralty Islands.

Mr. Hill was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star.

He received a disability discharge April 20, 1945 at the General and Convalescent Army Hospital at Camp Atterbury, Indiana.
