Arthur W. Hendrickson

Arthur W. Hendrickson entered the Army on February 14, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Duluth, Minnesota.

He served as a Staff Sergeant and infantryman with Company H, 320 Infantry in Normandy, Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe. One July 11, 1944, received a combat wound to the thigh.

Mr. Hendrickson was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Pistol Sharpshooter and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on September 17, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
