Arthur A. Miles was inducted into the Army on May 13, 1941.

Mr. Miles received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with one silver battle star (for five campaigns), American Defense Service Medal, four overseas service bars and World War II Victory Medal.
He was discharged on October 1, 1945.
