“Cpl. Arthur Gredvig inducted January 1, 1945 at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Basic training at Fort Robertson, Arkansas. July 1945 departed for overseas to the Asiatic Pacific Theater, Okinawa Army of Occupation, Japan, with HQ Co.3 Battalion 511 Parachute Infantry (7 jumps). Honorably discharged on November 22, 1946 from Fort Sheridan, IL.”
