Arthur Ketola of Angora, Minnesota, was inducted into the Naval Reserve on March 22, 1944.

He was a Fireman 1st Class aboard the battleship USS Iowa and at continental United States shore stations.

Mr.  Ketola was awarded the: Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on December 14, 1945 at San Pedro, Calif.
