Arthur G. Lillquist

Arthur Lillquist was inducted into the Army on April 30, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician 5th Grade and the general's orderly with Headquarters and Headquarters Battery of the 99th Division Artillery in Algeria-France, Morocco and Tunisia, North Africa, Sicily, Normandy and Northern France, Rhineland, and Ardennes, Germany; and Central Europe.

Mr. Lillquist was awarded the: Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with eight bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and six overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged October 8, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
