Arthur E. Laituri of Eveleth was enlisted in the Naval Reserve on March 11, 1942.

He was a Storekeeper 1st Class on the USS Harris and USS General Omar Bundy in the Pacific and European Theaters.

Mr. Laituri received the: Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on September 27, 1945 at Bremerton, Wash.
