Arnold William Reed served in World War II in North Africa and southern Europe.

He participated in the North Africa, Sicily, and Italy campaigns, including the battles of Anzio and Monte Casino, in the Red Bull Division under the command of General George Patton.
He obtained the rank of Technical Sergeant.
He was born November 18, 1920, in Automba, Minnesota. He was the son of Matt and Edna Reed.
Mr. Reed died at age 87 on February 14, 2008, in Duluth, Minnesota.
