Arne W. Isaacson of Eveleth, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on May 30, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He was a Private First Class in Battery C, Sep. Coast Artillery Battalion, Rome-Arno, Italy; Southern France, Rhineland, Central Europe campaigns. He was wounded in action in France in November, 1944.
Mr. Isaacson was awarded the Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with four bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and six overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged October 23, 1945 at Camp Grant, Ill.
