Arne Aatos Saralampi

Arne Aatos Saralampi was inducted into the Army on August 26, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Toivola, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician Fourth Grade working with electric track and wheel vehicles with the 527th Ordinance Heavy Maintenance Truck Company in the Burma and Central Burma campaigns.

Mr. Saralampi was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and China War Memorial badge and ribbon.

He was honorably discharged on December 11, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
