Archie B. Maki

Archie B. Maki of Virginia was inducted into the Army on Oct. 26, 1943.

He was a corporal and a rifleman with Company I, 424th Infantry Regiment, 106th Infantry Division. He served in northern France and the Rhineland.

Mr. Maki was awarded the: Combat Infantryman Badge, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, American Campaign Medal, Army of Occupation Service Medal (Germany), World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on June 15, 1946.
