Anton R. Kramer of Gilbert, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on September 26, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He was a Technician 3rd Grade and a cryptographic technician with the 143rd Armored Signal Company in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe.
Mr. Kramer received the: Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Citation, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and four overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged on November 10, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
