Mr. Repesh was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal one overseas service bar, Philippine Liberation Medal.
He was honorably discharged on January 24, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
