Anton J. Repesh

Anton J. Repesh entered the Army Air Corps on February 4, 1944, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Sergeant and radar mechanic with the Fifth Bombardment Group in the Southern Philippines (Liberation), Borneo, and Western Pacific.

Mr. Repesh was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal one overseas service bar, Philippine Liberation Medal.

He was honorably discharged on January 24, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
