Anton J. Kukar was inducted into the Army Air Corps on March 26, 1943 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He was a Private First Class and radio operator with the 86th Army Air Forces Base Unit in Europe.

Mr. Kukar received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on November 23, 1945at Camp Chaffee, Ark.
