Anthony J. Kokal of Eveleth, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on April 22, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He was a Technician 5th Grade with the Service Battery, 138th Field Artillery in the Rhineland, Central Europe and the Pacific Theater.
Mr. Kokal received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and two overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged November 8, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
