Anthony J. Hoffman

Anthony J. Hoffman of Buyck, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on April 20, 1944 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He was a Technician 5th Grade and locomotive mechanic in Headquarters Company, 766 Railway Battalion, Rhineland.

Mr. Hoffman was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, Army of Occupation Medal (Germany) and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged May 29, 1946 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
