TELEGA, Anthony "Anton" Francis
Anthony Francis Telega was born on January 25th 1910 to Vanentine & Rosa [Kasprzak] Telega in Duluth, Minnesota.
Mr. Telega entered the Army on December 3rd 1943. Home at entry: Duluth, Minnesota.
Mr. Telega served as a Technician Fourth Grade (TEC4). After training as a medic, he was shipped overseas and assigned to the Sixth Army Group. All his overseas time was as a cook and truck driver. He was attached to the 32nd Infantry Division and 29th Military Government.
He was awarded two battle stars stars, and was discharged on December 30th 1945. He died on August 15th1984 in Duluth, Minnesota at the age of 74 years old. He is buried at the Polish Catholic Cemetery in Duluth.
