Anthony F. Sampson

Anthony F. Sampson was inducted into the Army on June 23, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Makinen, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician Fifth Grade and x-ray technician with the 16th Evacuation Hospital in Sicily, Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, North Apennines, and Po Valley, Italy.

He received the following: Bronze Arrowhead, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and five overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on November 19, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
