Andrew Kuchera was inducted into the Army on April 11, 1942.

He was a Technician 5th Grade  and auto mechanic with the 991st Ordnance Company Heavy Maintenance in Algeria, French Morocco; Tunisia; Sicily, Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, Northern Apennines, Po Valley, Italy.

Mr. Kuchera received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with seven battle stars.

He was honorably discharged on July 15, 1945 at Indiantown Gap Military Res.,Penn.
