Alvar E. Pearson

Alvar E. Pearson of Gilbert, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on Nov. 16, 1942.

He was a Sergeant and an auto mechanic with Headquarters Company, 1634th Quartermaster Service Unit, in the Pacific.

Mr. Pearson received the: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal, American Campaign Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal and an Overseas Service Bar.

He was discharged on Jan. 6, 1946.
