Alger P. Jacobson of Aurora, Wisconsin was inducted into the Army on June 29, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Private First Class with the Headquarters and Service Company of the 320th Engineer Battalion in Southern France, Rhineland and Central Europe.

Mr.Jacobson received the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, American Campaign Medal andnWorld War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on November 21, 1945 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
