Alexander R. Doroff enlisted in the Naval Reserve on April 2, 1942.

He served as a Machinist's Mate 1st Class with the 26th Naval construction Battalion (Seabees) in the Pacific Theater and continental U.S..

Mr. Doroff  was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star.

He was honorably discharged on Oct. 10, 1945 at Great Lakes, Ill.
