Alexander Paripovich

Alexander Paripovich Mr. Paripovich was inducted into the Army on August 26, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Kitzville Location, Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and antitank gun crewman with Company A of the 771st Tank Destroyer Battalion in Northern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

Mr. Paripovich was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, and World War II Victory Medal four overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on December 6, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
