BIANCHINI, Aldo John

Aldo John Bianchini was born on December 28th 1924 to Giovanni Candido (John) & Olga Catherine [Puccetti] Bianchini in Buhl, Minnesota.

Mr. Bianchini entered the U.S. Army on July 13th 1943. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served with the Antitank Company of the 318th Infantry Regiment, 80th Infantry Division in France and Luxembourg. He left for France in August 1944. He rose to the rank of Private First Class (PFC). 

PFC Biachini was wounded in action on September 8th 1944. He returned to his squad and was killed in action in Luxembourg on January 17th 1945; twenty days after his 20th birthday.  

PFC Biachini received the Purple Heart posthumously and is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing, Minneaota.
