Albin R. Carlson of Cass Lake, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on Oct. 16, 1941.
He was a technician 4th grade and an auto mechanic with Headquarters Battery, 27th Armored Field Artillery Battalion in Algeria and Tunisia plus Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, North Apennines and the Po Valley in Italy.
He received the:
Bronze Service Arrowhead,
Good Conduct Medal,
American Defense Service Medal,
European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal and six overseas service bars.
He was discharged on Sept. 4, 1945.
