Albert W. Greenberg of Virginia, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on March 12, 1941 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He served as a Technician 4th Grade and auto mechanic with Headquarters Company of the 705th Tank Destroyer Battalion in Tunisia, Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, Rhineland and Central Europe.
Mr. Greenberg was awarded the Meritorious Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged October 15, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
