Albert T. Hoglund of Gilbert, Minnesota, enlisted in the Army on June 6, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He was a Technician 5th Grade and surgical technician with the 34th Station Hospital in Sicily and Rome-Arno, Italy.
Mr. Hoglund was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged November 27, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
