Albert S. Thompson

Albert S. Thompson was inducted into the Army on March 23, 1944, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Buhl, Minnesota.

Mr. Thompson served as a Corporal and military policeman with the 1340th Service Command Unit in the continental U.S.

He was awarded the following: Meritorious Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, and World War II Victory Medal.

Mr. Thompson was honorably discharged on May 15, 1946, at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland.
