Albert J. Petrich was inducted into the Army on July 2, 1942.
He was a Technician 5th Grade and a telephone and telegraph installer with the 3158th Signal Service Company at Rome-Arno in Italy; southern France, the Rhineland and Central Europe.
Mr. Petrich received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with four bronze battle stars, and the World War II Victory Medal.
He was discharged on Oct. 30, 1945.
