Albert J. Forte of Eveleth, Minnesota was inducted into the Army Air Corps on March 27, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Corporal and a military policeman with the 1455th Army Air Forces (AAF) Base Unit in Great Falls, Montana, Alaska and the Pacific Theater.

Mr. Forte was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on Sept. 25, 1945 at Great Falls, Mont.
