Albert A. Heikkila of Florenton, Minnesota, enlisted in the Army on Aug. 26, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He was a Technician 4th Grade and classification specialist in the 105th Reinforcement Battalion in Ardennes and Rhineland.
Mr. Heikkila was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, American Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
He was honorably discharged Feb. 5, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
