Ahti E. Kaivos

Ahti E. Kaivos of Eveleth was inducted into the Army on April 23, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He was a Technician 5th Grade and a carpenter with the 3190th Ordnance Ammunition Company (Provisional) in Alaska.

Mr. Kaivos was awarded the: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on October 2, 1945 at Toole Ordnance Depot, Utah.
