Adolph Sjoblom, Jr.

Adolph Sjoblom, Jr. entered the Army on September 8, 1943. Home at entry: Zim, Minnesota.

He served as a Corporal and mortar man with Headquarters Company of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division in Ardennes (Bulge), Rhineland, and Central Europe.

He received the following: Combat Infantryman Badge, Bronze Star Medal, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged and to reenlist in the Regular Army, on March 18, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
