Adolph Gentilini of Virginia, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on May 30, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He served as a Staff Sergeant and mess sergeant with Battery A of the 439th Anti-Aircraft Battalion in Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, Southern France, Rhineland and Central Europe.
Mr. Gentilini received the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged on November 2, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
