Robert Bernard Tupa was born on May 3rd 1925 to Bernhard Y. & Charlotte A. [Andrews] Tupa in Hibbing, Minnesota
Mr. Tupa entered the U.S. Army on August 14th 1943 during WWII.
He served with Company 'C' of the 350th Ind. a/s Infantry. He rose to the rank of Private First Class (PFC). He earned a Bronze Star for his service.
PFC Tupa was honorably discharged on January 22nd 1919, After the war he returned home and married Charlotte [Andrews] and they started a family. His father Bernhard Ylatupa Tupa also served in the Army, but during WWI.
Mr. Tupa died on June 10th 1951 at 26 years of age. He is buried at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
