Franklin Ralph Neff

Mr. Neff served in the U.S. Army. He was inducted on July 25, 1918, in Duluth, Minnesota.
He served in the Infantry, in Company E, 56th Pioneer Regiment. He trained at Camp Wadsworth, South Carolina, from July 28 until September 1, 1918.
He was elevated from Private to Corporal on September 1, 1918.
He served on the U.S.S. Siboney, which left Hoboken, New Jersey, on September 4, 1918. It landed in St. Nazaire, France, on September 12, 1918. He saw combat on September 30, 1918, in Avocourt and was in the Meuse-Argonne Offensive.
He returned to the U.S. on June 25, 1919, docking at Newport News, Virginia. He was discharged from Camp Grant, Illinois, on July 5, 1919.
Mr. Neff was born on August 18, 1895, in Duluth, Minnesota, the son of Mr. and Mrs.
B. F. Neff.
