Thomas Musolf, born 1935, raised in West Duluth, Minnesota, attended Denfeld High School. Enlisted in Minn Army Natl Guard, 1952, separated in 1954 to join U.S. Air Force until retirement in 1979.
Twice served in Vietnam as Senior Enlisted Commander of 5 man mobilty aerial ports co-located with U.S. Army units at Dalat Airfield and Phouc Vinh Airfield.
Awards include:
Bronze Star w/oak leaf cluster,
Meritorious Service medal w/oak leaf cluster,
AF Commendation medal w/2 oak leaf clusters,
Vietnam Service Medal w/4 campaign stars and Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry w/palm.
Other full foreign tours of duty were: England (2), Labrador (2), Philippines (2)and Morocco.
