Ronald Blake

Mr. Blake served in the Vietnam War.

He joined the U.S. Army on April 12, 1967.

Mr. Blake was discharged on November 29, 1968 with the rank of Sergeant.

He was assigned to I Corp, American Division, I Corp, and was sent to Vietnam. He was attached to the 4/3rd D Company, 1st Platoon; 4/3rd E Company, LRRP (Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol); and the 4/3rd E Company, Reconnaissance Platoon. Mr. Blake was decorated with the Combat Infantryman Badge, National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal, USM, VCM and VCOP III.

Mr. Blake was born in 1948 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is the son of Jerome and Antoinette Blake. He graduated from Hopkins Senior High School in 1966.
