WHITE, Richard Joseph
Richard Joseph White was born on September 27th 1947. His hometown was International Falls, Minnesota in Koochiching County.
Mr. White was drafted into the U.S. Army; entered service via Selective Service on May 21st 1969 during the Vietnam War. He was part of the Light Weapons Infantry and rose to the rank of Corporal. He was Attached to 101st Airborne Division, 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry, 'B' Company.
Cpl. White was killed while serving during hostile action in Quang Tri province in South Vietnam on August 24, 1969. He was 22 years of age.
