James Leo Dieryck

Mr. Dieryck served in the Vietnam War.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a Corporal.

Mr. Dieryck was born on July 28, 1939, in Duluth,Minnesota the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Dieryck. He attended Duluth Central High School.

Mr. Dieryck was killed in action in the Chu Lai sector of Vietnam at age 26.

He was reported to be the first Duluthian to die in the Vietnam War. He died on August 19, 1965.
