George W. Watts

Watts served in the Spanish American War, WWI, and WWII.
In WWII, he served with his son, Robert Watts (see separate story).
He was inducted into WWII Service as 1st Sgt. of Service Battery until after Pearl Harbor, and then entered the 127th Evacuation Hospital at Ft. Campbell, KY.
He was later shipped overseas to the European Theater until his discharge in Oct. 1945.
Prior to his WWII service, he was in charge of a group of guardsmen to go into Canada to help fight fires and evacuate people that were trapped.
