The following story was taken from an interview conducted by Rhen Lowry, a student at Ordean Middle School and son of Mr. David E. Lowry.
The narrative tells the story of Lowry’s experience in the Navy. David Lowry was a member of NORAD/USSPACECOM at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado from 1988 until 1992.
Lowry was stationed in the Springs from the age of 17 to 21. As a member of this unit, Lowry was part of the intelligence community as a cryptolic technician administrator.
