Howard Gregg

Howard Gregg was born in Denver, Colorado, and graduated from high school there. He also attended business school for two years.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1961. He was a boatswain's mate 3rd class aboard the USS Mauna Kea, an ammunition ship.
He later moved to Minnesota, where he worked of Erie Mining Co. on the Iron Range. In 1984 he joined the Army, serving until 1999 on active duty with the National Guard in Duluth, Minnesota.
He was a supply sergeant with the 94th Armor, the 109th Light Equipment Maintenance Company and Company C of the 434th Main Supply Battalion. As a member of the 109th, he served in Saudi Arabia in 1990 and 1991 as part of Operation Desert Storm during the Persian Gulf War.
After his retirement from the Guard, he worked for Kolar Auto in Duluth.
