Richard John "Dick" Marnich

Mr. Marnich served during the Korean War. During his tour in Korea he received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for his service.

He was born on April 13, 1930 in Buhl, Minnesota to his John and Suzy Marnich.

He graduated from Buhl High School with honors along with becoming an “All-American” for football. After high school he attended and graduated from UMD with a BA in English.

On November 10, 2007 he died in Duluth, Minnesota.
