He was born September 20, 1929, in Duluth, Minnesota. He graduated from Duluth Central High School and went on to attend the University of Minnesota in Duluth and Minneapolis. He obtained a doctorate in Education from the University of California, Berkeley.
Mr. Lundstrom, of San Diego, California, died at age 79 on November 7, 2008.
